Computer Misuse Act 1990

Summary

The Act is the UK's main criminal statute on computer crime. It criminalises unauthorised access to computer systems, access with intent to commit further offences, and unauthorised acts that impair the operation of a computer. It has been amended several times, notably in 2006 and 2015.
